HARVEST ASSEMBLY

On Thursday we held our whole school harvest assembly on the upper site.

The assembly was led by the children themselves, with Year 6 pupils introducing each class for their presentation.  All of the children were simply fantastic and should be extremely proud of their contributions.  Smiley faces were the order of the day.  The children and staff were treated to a wide range of ways of celebrating harvest including: the reciting of poetry; the singing of songs and the display of amazing artwork.   The assembly was closed by reflections and prayers led by the children and Mr Woolerton.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all of your food donations.  Once again you have been extremely generous.  The goods were given to the Food Bank, who as always were undeniably grateful.

Next term we look forward to inviting parents in to watch our class assemblies.  Each class will be taking their turn in the retelling of parable from the New Testament in their own individual way.
