I have worked at St Hugh's for five years and during my employment I have undertaken a variety of roles; starting as a Teaching Assistant shortly progressing into Student Support/Mentoring, then utilising those skills and experiences into Behaviour Support including the role of Academy Anti-Bullying Co-Ordinator.
In 2014 I expressed particular interest in supporting and helping our students access the National Curriculum and moved into the SEN department to implement strategies and supervise progress of students. Due to my interests and passion for assisting students achieve their full potential, I was recruited in 2015 to my current post as Teacher of Digital Technology.
I have lived in Grantham for 24 years and have thrived on supporting my community internally and externally, in a community based role.
I am looking forward to the prospect of contributing to the Board and being part of a strong team in a Staff Director role, voicing and contributing internal proposals. I am excited at the prospect of being a part of a determined Board that wants the Trust to succeed and develop efficiently, resourcing our individual experiences alongside our community collaboration.
