After teaching for 30 years I have recently retired but I am passionate about the importance of a great education for everyone.
In my last post, I was a Deputy Headteacher of a large primary school which was also a National Support
School. My role was to support school improvement and challenge my own and other schools to provide an outstanding education for all pupils. My field of expertise is Early Years and I am passionate about all children having the very best start to their education. I hope to be able to use my experience, skills and knowledge to support and challenge the staff at St John’s and St Hugh’s to achieve the very best education for all their pupils.
I love to travel and am planning some new adventures to take advantage of my new found freedom. Closer to home my four wonderful grandchildren keep me very busy and my labrador ensures I stay fit. I have just taken up yoga – it is never too late to learn something new!
In my role as Director, I bring enthusiasm, passion and commitment to help ensure that all pupils of the Trust receive the best possible opportunities to love their learning and be successful lifelong learners.
