On 29 March, 36 students and 6 members of staff braved the wind, rain and mud for two nights at PGL in Caythorpe for our annual revision weekend. Over three days students split their time between classroom-based revision and physical activities.
This year students were able to test their nerves on the high ropes and giant swing, as well as competing to gain the fastest time on an extremely muddy obstacle course before "earning" their cutlery at the archery range.
The excitement didn’t stop there; Miss McLellan and Miss Taylor encouraged the students to embrace their creative side in their maths class where they studied ratio and used this skill to make a cheesecake. Over in the English classroom a very focussed group of students worked with Mrs Hesketh and Mrs Dench on writing techniques to help with their exams.
It was a fast-paced three days that were thoroughly enjoyed by staff and students alike. Hopefully the students found it useful in preparation for their upcoming exams.
