GIFTS FOR A KING

The children in Nursery and Reception  performed their Christmas performance 'Gifts for the King' on Monday 12 December. The children sang and danced to a selection of songs, as well a telling a beautiful story about the animals, angels, shepherds and Wise men taking their gifts to baby Jesus.

The performance was watched by parents, members of staff from within the Trust and the Deputy Mayor of Grantham and his wife.  Positive comments were flowing after the show.

'The children created a beautiful Nativity performance. They had to learn a good number of lines and quite a few songs, which they sang with great enthusiasm, it was a joy to watch' said Mrs Dench, Executive Headteacher.

'It was lovely to see the children enjoying themselves and showing off to their parents' said Mr Mike Cook, Deputy Mayor of Grantham.

'All of the children were absolutely fantastic and were responsible for putting smiles on everyone's faces. As always, we are extremely proud of them' said Mr Woolerton, Acting Headteacher.

'The children clearly loved telling us about the birth of Jesus through their beautiful singing, joy and smiling faces. Parents, grandparents and visitors clearly loved this wonderful performance',  Cherry Edwards, Trustee.
