Jayne Robb, Foundation Director
I am Jayne Robb and I was elected to the Lincoln Diocese Board of Education in December 2015. Most of my life has been spent working in education, especially in the education of teenagers and young adults with special needs. My key area of expertise is autism, having achieved a Masters Degree in Autism and Education with my own autistic teenager as my chief trainer!
I also tutor university students with additional needs such a dyslexia and Asperger’s syndrome and help coach them through their various degrees.
Along with my husband and two children I worship within Trinity Parish in Grantham. This is a thriving parish that combines three churches into one and within it, as a family, we enjoy both the fellowship and the opportunities it provides to serve our local community.
In addition to this new position I serve as a Director of the West Grantham Academies Trust, am a representative on Grantham Churches Together and I am chair of the South Lincolnshire Migrant Community Support Group. I am also part of our local Street Pastor team, which is a role I find particularly challenging and rewarding.
My family consists of two families coming together containing my husband and myself, two stepchildren, four children and two grandchildren. I enjoy supporting my husband in his role as an officer in the Lincolnshire Army Cadet Force and together good food, fine company, travel and trips to the theatre are our main down time pleasures.
